Folk Duo

I'm currently working with Paul Barclay in the Helen & Paul Folk Duo singing crafted arrangements of traditional and original folk songs. We are frequently joined by Alice Barclay (violin), Camilla Litchfield (cello) and Ken Dale (keyboard) as the Summerhouse Band.

Duo Recado
…with mandolin player David Griffiths. Duo Recado’s repertoire encompassed jazz, folk, classical, flamenco and Choro styles.
Brejeiro - Choro Group
…with David Griffiths and Mike Pryor on mandolins and Andy Fuller on percussion. Brejeiro specialised in the music of South America and performed for festivals and events locally and nationally.
Three Piece Suite

….with West Country with John Hooper and fiddler Ali Nourse. Three Piece Suite hosted a monthly venue in Somerset for almost a decade, performing with national and international guest jazz and folk musicians and also toured with the legendary Fred Wedlock, performing many combined concerts.
Through performing with other musicians I've incorporated folk, jazz, flamenco and world music styles into my playing technique. I've led and arranged for the Bristol Classical Guitar Society Ensemble for over a decade, run community singing groups and taught classical and folk guitar to all ages and all abilities for many years!
